Lamar, Mo. (January 19, 2015) — Finley Engineering, a leader in professional engineering services for the telecom, broadband and energy industries, continues to build their Energy Division skilled staff with the addition of Cap Fergen, Manager of Distribution Engineering. Fergen brings nearly 25 years of experience to the Finley Energy Team, and will be based out of the Kansas City location.
“Cap has widespread experience providing engineering expertise to the electric utility industry,” said Vice President Phil Carroll. “The oversight he’s had on multiple distribution projects of all sizes and his ability to lead and develop teams will translate well into successful ventures for our clients.”
Fergen’s key focus is to provide assessment and development of design work for Finley’s utility clients, leading teams of individuals focused on the needs and expectations for each distribution project.
Prior to joining Finley Engineering, Fergen was employed with Kansas City Power and Light as Manager of Engineering Central Design. He was responsible for all major distribution designs involving feeder line extensions, underground feeder lines, power quality inspections and overall system integrity.
