Brian Udell serves as Director of Spatial Intelligence at Finley Engineering, where he leads enterprise technology strategy, geospatial innovation, and digital transformation initiatives supporting large-scale fiber network design and field operations. He oversees multidisciplinary teams spanning GIS, automation, data engineering, CAD, and field mobility while driving modernization efforts across the organization.

With more than 20 years of experience across engineering, utilities, telecommunications, and geospatial technology, Brian has built a reputation for translating emerging technologies into practical business outcomes. His work has included advancing AI and automation initiatives, modernizing enterprise workflows, and launching new technology-enabled service offerings.

Prior to joining Finley, Brian held leadership roles at Sentera, Deloitte, Xcel Energy, and other organizations where he led enterprise modernization programs, geospatial analytics initiatives, and operational transformation efforts for both public and private sector clients.

Brian holds a Master of Geographic Information Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP).
