Having 30 years of combined experience as both a survey technician and survey crew chief, Mr. Sanderson possesses expertise in GPS surveying techniques and GIS Data Collection/Compilation; LiDar Scanning; Leica & Trimble instrumentation and data collection; location line projection and profiling; danger tree cross-sectioning; substation topography and microwave beam profiling. He is also skilled in data compilation and map production using a variety of software, including Microstation v. 8, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014, PLS-CADD, Trimble Geomatics Office, Leica LlSCADD, Pathfinder Office, ESRI ArcGIS, Leica Geosystems Cyclone, Mapsight and StarNET.
Mr. Sanderson is currently supervising survey crews on route and topographic surveys for utility clients. As such, he is responsible for job scheduling and acts as the day to day interface with many of the other contractors to coordinate survey activities on the project. He is also responsible for monitoring field data collection and field crew compliance with project safety and environmental requirements, as well as assigning CAD work to office personnel. Under his supervision, crews successfully complete surveys in severe terrain and weather conditions while maintaining tight time schedules and professional work standards.
