The Board of Directors named Ty Middleton President and CEO of Finley Engineering in 2022. At Finley, Middleton is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the overall strategic direction of the organization,  communicating and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and strategy, and monitoring company performance with an emphasis on profit and revenues.

A seasoned high-tech business executive, Middleton has spent his entire career working in various corners of the digital economy, including experiences in the software-as-a-service, cybersecurity, and telecommunications sectors. As a 30-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, he has extensive experience in cross-functional leadership roles including general management, field and business operations, sales, and business development.  Middleton has led high-growth, customer-centric, technology-fueled businesses from start-ups to Fortune 150, including time at MCI Telecommunications, Qwest Communications, and CenturyLink.

Middleton holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Computer Sciences.  A Minnesota native, he has been actively involved in the Twin Cities community including roles on the Board of Directors at the Minnesota Technology Association, Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota, and the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.
