USDA Awards $191,038 to Counties in Missouri
Congratulations to the Curators of the University of Missouri, who were recently awarded a grant of $191,038 from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act as Technical Assistance Recipients. Finley is proud to be a selected partner and work with the University to make this project a success.
This grant, part of a Rural Development cooperative agreement, will support the expansion of high-speed internet in Carter and Shannon counties in Missouri. The funding will enable the Curators of the University of Missouri to undertake a community planning process, a broadband economic analysis study, an environmental study, and a technical design study. This project aims to benefit Distressed Energy Communities and Persistent Poverty Communities in Missouri.
