A valuable swath of spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band, Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS), will soon become available. Designated as Spectrum Auction 105, the June 2020 auction will make priority access licenses in the 3550 – 3650 MHz spectrum band available. CBRS spectrum is considered some of the most promising spectrum available, with both fixed wireless and mobile 5G applications.
This 150Mhz of spectrum will utilize a new allocation structure designed to promote maximum utilization of the band.
